Blog: Monitoring Multi-Account AWS Environments:
View all your AWS & private cloud infrastructure in one place
Quickly see resource relation and identify issues
Easily consume relevant metrics
Cloud Insights is a SaaS infrastructure monitoring solution that works for on-premises, private cloud and public cloud environments including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. This provides you with a truly unified view of your infrastructure deployments. This ability to integrate with a diverse set of operational platforms extends to supporting multiple AWS accounts.
AWS is the leading public cloud platform with the largest share of the market. Cloud Insights analyzes EC2 and EBS to detect developing issues before they impact users. Go beyond CloudWatch – with Cloud Insights, you can effectively monitor and optimize AWS, multi-cloud, on-premises resources and applications in one consistent view. With easy-to-consume visualizations and consistent metrics, your teams can understand regardless of their technical expertise.
Cloud Insights provides:
Cloud Insights provides an extensive library of fully supported data collectors to extract the relevant metrics for monitoring your environment. Using a comprehensive dashboard gallery, you can create relevant dashboards instantly and easily customize them to your specific needs.
The Cloud Insights data model simplifies reporting on the data collected from multiple AWS accounts, or even environments across multiple cloud providers. Rather than viewing and monitoring these accounts individually, a consistent data model allows you to create dashboards, reports, queries and policies using one approach. Siloed resources don’t mean siloed monitoring when you have Cloud Insights.

*Available for environments of 500 managed units and larger
Pricing is based on the number of Managed Units (MUs) you wish to monitor.
An MU is defined as:
|Compute:||1 Managed Unit = 2 hosts (virtual or physical)|
|Storage:||1 Managed Unit = 4 TB of unformatted external capacity in a physical or virtual storage
(doesn't account for the compute local storage)
For example, if you have 100 hosts and 100 TB of storage, you would purchase (100/2) + (100/4) = 75 MUs.
